Frequently Asked Questions
Using goats to manage your vegetation is much different than hiring a traditional landscaping crew. Below are some of our most frequently asked questions. If you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to contact us.

How do the goats get water when on a job?
On private/backyard jobs, we supply the water trough, and ask the customer to keep it filled. We can supply water for an additional charge. On all large projects, we work with the project manager and develop a plan to ensure the herd always has water.
Do you withhold feed from the goats before a job?
No, we do not withhold feed from our herd. They are grazing/browsing animals by nature and are almost always hungry. When the goats are not out on a job, they are provided a variety of forage at home.
Can we pet the goats when they are at my house?
Absolutely!! The majority of our herd are very friendly and welcome a good head scratch. We ask that you do not feed them treats while they are working. This distracts them and takes away from the services they are providing for you.
Does my property need to be fenced in?
No, your property does not need to be fenced in, however, we do charge extra to provide any additional fencing necessary to keep our goats safe and secure.
What about all the poop?
What goes in must come out. We do not remove the manure from the site. We will make a reasonable effort to sweep it off of driveways, sidewalks, and patios.
What is the price?
All jobs are priced on an individual basis. There are MANY different variables that we have to consider when estimating a job. For this reason, we provide the customer with a preliminary bid based on location and pictures of property. We will then provide a final price after an in person site visit.
